If you look inside a pomegranate, you can see the thin white membranes dividing the fruit into chambers, organising the seeds and juice sacs. Each seed is held in place by a delicate, almost invisible mesh of fibres. There is also the leathery skin holding everything together. All of this is fascia. Every part is interconnected - you can’t pull out a seed cluster without affecting the membrane around it.
You are, in fact, just like a pomegranate; full of fascia.Your fascia is a continuous, multidirectional web of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, muscle, bone, nerve, and blood vessel in the body, providing structure, support, and allowing for smooth movement. Made primarily of collagen, fascia acts as a sensory organ, It’s the tissue that connects all tissues, from your toes to your nose, it is allll over your insides. It transfers fluids, blood and qi (energy). It is semi-crystalline and generates its own electricity. It’s amazing. oes here

When your fascia is not operating optimally, neither are you. Each class weaves a variety of techniques to free the fascia; we use balls and blocks to self-massage, we engage our muscles while we lengthen them, and we love an old fashioned yin yoga practice.
There are two categories of classes in the membership:
YANG: This is a more dynamic practice aimed at equally releasing fascia as well as strengthening your muscles. Balancing, sweaty, fun.
YIN: This mostly involves rolling around on the floor, using more passive fascia freeing techniques with a strong focus on soothing the nervous system & quieting the mind.
